Tax Accounting Consultant / Senior Consultant – Corporate Tax
Are you interested in becoming part of a dynamic team obtaining insights into the tax affairs of multinational groups and applying specialist tax skills in a high performing and exciting environment? In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work in Lausanne or Geneva.
Your Contribution to KPMG
* Calculating, advising on tax positions (current and deferred taxes) in financial statements prepared under IFRS, US GAAP, or Swiss GAAP FER
* Supporting our clients with tax reporting obligations
* Supporting our audit teams as the tax specialist on group and component audits, applying specialist knowledge and coordinating international teams
* Participate in the development of tools and standardised solutions in connection with tax accounting and reporting tasks
* Work on complex and multidisciplinary projects
* Cross-functional collaboration with experts from other divisions and other tax specialists, particularly in the areas of International and Swiss Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and VAT
* Close cooperation and coordination with our foreign KPMG offices on tax audits and projects for internationally active Swiss companies
What Makes You Successful
* Completed bachelor's degree in economics, accounting and finance or similar, ideally complemented by knowledge in tax law
* Initial experience and strong interest in tax and accounting topics
* Fluency in English, French, German skills are an advantage
* Open and communicative personality with a solution-oriented and team player mindset
* Able to work under pressure and be flexible for a seasonal business model
