Collateral Management Specialist
We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team in the Middle Office, specifically in the Credit & Collateral Operations area. This role will be responsible for supporting collateral management and credit activities as the first line of defense.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing counterparty data, monitoring and reporting collateral requirements, and providing timely reports to Risk, Treasury, and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Counterparty Data Management: Accurately manage and update counterparty data in the collateral management platform.
* Daily Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and report on collateral requirements, including margin calls, position reconciliations, and dispute resolution.
* Interest Accruals and Payments: Oversee interest accruals and provide timely reports to Risk, Treasury, and Finance teams.
* Credit and Collateral Requests: Manage requests related to secured and unsecured credit, including Lombard loans, credit lines, and bridge loans.
* Initial Request Evaluation: Evaluate and validate initial requests based on predefined policies and financial risk criteria.
* Client-Specific Interest Rate Tables: Supervise interest accruals, payment schedules, and client-specific interest rate tables.
* Reporting and Coordination: Coordinate with Risk, Finance, and Treasury departments for reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
* Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Collateral Management is required.
* Language Skills: Proficiency in both English and French environments is essential.
* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills are necessary.
* Prioritization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under pressure.
* Adaptability: Adaptability to a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment is required.
* Tools Experience: Experience with Osttra or similar collateral management tools is an asset.
