THE ROLE
We are seeking a Legal Counsel for a leading multinational company in the food and beverage industry in Switzerland. This role supports the Global Procurement Team by providing expert legal advice on procurement matters related to Information Systems, Information Technology, and Corporate Services, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and mitigating legal risks. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Serve as a trusted legal advisor to procurement teams in the Information Systems, Information Technology, and Corporate Services domains, providing clear, solution-oriented counsel.
2. Draft, assess, and negotiate agreements related to software, cloud services, and IT hardware procurement.
3. Provide expert guidance on AI regulations, cybersecurity, payment systems, and other emerging technology-related legal matters.
4. Train procurement professionals on tech tools and promote proactive engagement with legal teams.
5. Develop standardized legal templates, risk assessment protocols, and procurement strategies to streamline operations.
6. Work closely with internal legal and compliance teams across different regions and business functions.
YOUR PROFILE
7. Lawyer with at least 5 years of experience ; preferably with bar admission
8. Ability to work in a global company on cross-border matters and form strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders
9. Excellent drafting skills, communication skills, and attention to detail
10. Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of independence
11. Proficiency in English
