In this role, you will support externalconsultants and planners in designing tailored specifications fordata centers in the field of liquid cooling, simulations,automation, security, fire and power monitoring. You will develop astandard reference prescription to position Siemens as the trustedadvisor for data center solutions. You will collaborate withcross-Business Unit professionals, partners and the sales teams inour focus countries to drive specifications and promote ourportfolio. Your new responsibilities - Identify and engage with existingand potential partners and customers, understanding their needs tobring value propositions that differentiate Siemens in the datacenter market - Collaborate with consultants in the data centermarket to specify Siemens products and solutions, ensuringalignment with industry standards and client requirements - Partnerwith cross-BU Siemens sales teams to drive specifications andpromote products, solutions, and services to customers in the datacenter vertical - Engage with business decision-makers at allorganizational levels to identify requirements and new marketopportunities - Monitor industry trends and competitors’ activitiesto develop standardized design and identify innovationopportunities - Work closely with marketing refine Siemens’ valueproposition for consultants and technical decision-makers - Deliverinternal training sessions, visit client sites, and consistentlyexceed KPIs based on sales and engagement metrics - Providestrategic insights to management regarding industry trends,regulatory changes, and competitive positioning to continuouslyimprove Siemens’ data center designs and offerings Your skills andexperience - Bachelor's degree in engineering or an equivalent; anMBA or relevant graduate degree is beneficial - Proven experiencein technical sales or vertical markets, with a strong focus on datacenters - In-depth understanding of data center technologies andsolutions, including Integrated Data Center Management Suite,liquid cooling systems, and Data Center Infrastructure Management(DCIM) software - Broad knowledge of regulatory, legislative,business, and technology trends across multiple markets - Knowledgeof medium voltage products and systems, protection systems, andenergy automation solutions - Excellent planning, communication,writing, and facilitation skills - Ability to quickly adjuststrategies and approaches as conditions change - Possesses arigorous and analytical attitude to overcome challenges and solveproblems effectively - Excellent communication and presentationabilities in English.
