Job Description
We are seeking a Technical Author to support our team in building up aircraft maintenance manuals and illustrated parts catalogs.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop AMM supplements, ATA chapters, and internal guidelines.
* Work independently on writing AMM supplements (all P/B) and according to airworthiness requirements.
* Create parts list tables and illustrations, adhering to airworthiness standards.
Key Activities
* Analyze engineering documents, including electrical/mechanical drawings and specifications.
* Collaborate with engineering teams and relevant shops to establish effective communication.
* Update aircraft maintenance manual (AMM) supplements and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) supplements.
* Produce high-quality isometric illustrations and track design revisions.
* Prepare customer documentation packages and develop technical documentation libraries.
Requirements
* Technical author with a master's degree or senior technical author experience.
* Mechanical engineering background and knowledge of aeronautics is an advantage.
* Proficiency in MS Office, CAD literacy, and experience with Adobe FrameMaker/Illustrator, IsodrawCADprocess, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
* Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), German language skills are advantageous.
