Job Description: Overview
This position is responsible for performing all types of analytical testing required for the release of packaging materials and environmental sampling. The position also manages documentation for the QC Laboratory, sample management, and the procurement of consumables (Reagents & others) for the Couvet Laboratory. Additionally, this role involves managing standards for analytical testing, supporting analytical testing, handling deviations and change controls, and following up on complaints.
As a QC team member, the individual filling this position supports all activities to continuously maintain the GMP status of the QC Laboratory.
Responsibilities
Ensure all EHS requirements in the laboratory: Respect EHS procedures and rules; report all incidents and near-misses to management and/or EHS representatives.
Perform visual inspections and analytical testing according to packaging material and release specifications.
Conduct visual inspections of materials, AQL sampling, and testing.
Manage samples for the QC Laboratory, including raw material & bulk reception/destruction and stability reception/destruction.
Review analytical data.
Perform basic laboratory work (buffer preparation, waste disposal management, washing lab dishes, cleaning labs, etc.).
Manage the supply of consumables.
Conduct environmental monitoring sampling for the site (set up, sampling, coordination).
Write specific standard operating procedures (e.g., operation and maintenance of equipment).
Perform general activities for the QC Laboratory (document archiving, labeling, and documentation scanning).
Participate in visual management and the 5S of the QC Laboratory; can be assigned special tasks and project work.
Qualifications
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Basic knowledge of laboratory activities in quality control and analytical testing.
Basic knowledge of GDP and GMP.
Conscientious, responsible, engaged, flexible, logical, and well-organized.
Excellent team spirit.
Good knowledge of English and French.
Familiarity with common office software.
