Job Description
As a Technology Contracts and Data Protection Specialist, you will:
* Technology Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for software, SaaS, cloud services, and IT procurement.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal standards, focusing on data security and privacy clauses.
* Act as the primary legal contact for technology stakeholders and support vendor due diligence.
* Data Protection: Develop and implement privacy policies and compliance programs (GDPR, UK DPA, FADP).
* Conduct data protection impact assessments and manage records of processing activities.
* Provide practical advice on privacy issues and deliver training to internal teams.
* Collaborate with Information Security and HR on breach response and sensitive data handling.
The Successful Applicant
* Licensed to practice law in the UK, EU, or Switzerland.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in technology law and data protection.
* Strong knowledge of GDPR and international privacy frameworks.
* Proven ability to manage technology contracts and advise on privacy compliance.
* Fluent in English; French is a plus.
* Experience in fast-paced, international corporate environments.
