The role
As a
Client Success Manager: Plant Scientist
, you will be the scientific partner to major ag players—
BigAg, food processors, and distributors
—helping them use Vivent's platform to deliver measurable outcomes for farmers.
You will:
 * Translate plant signals into clear recommendations that improve yield, quality and input efficiency.
 * Design, analyse and report on trials (breeding, seed production, crop protection) with client teams.
 * Contribute to the
 analysis of electrophysiology experiments
 ; grow your analytical/computational skills (e.g., Python, stats, ML features).
 * Maintain excellent experimental records and data integrity.
 * Support business development: join client meetings, shape work plans, add scientific content for pitches, marketing and reports.
 * Stay current on
 plant physiology and agronomy
 ; bring new ideas to product and science roadmaps.
 * Help build Vivent's libraries of plant electrophysiology recordings, 
 machine-learning models and crop health metrics
 .
 * Oversee interns or collaborators as needed.
 * Contribute to
 research/grant proposals
 and publications.
 * Build trusted relationships across Vivent and with partners; spot process/product improvements as we scale.
Who you are
 * Background in
 plant science/agronomy
 (MSc or PhD a plus) and excited by
 plant-driven
 and
 data-driven
 agriculture.
 * Comfortable working with
 enterprise clients
 (e.g., crop protection, seed, processors) and turning science into outcomes.
 * Strong in
 experimental design & statistics
 ; hands-on with data (Python or keen to learn).
 * Clear communicator who enjoys training, documentation and client success.
 * Organised, curious, proactive; thrive in a scaling, cross-functional team.
 * Fluent English
 ; other European languages are a plus, especially Dutch, Polish or Spanish.
 * Willing to travel to client sites and trials.
