Responsibilities
* Define and optimize packaging, palletizing, and maintenance solutions from finished product silos to stock and trucks, ensuring compliance with product requirements
* Develop User Requirements Specifications and Functional Design Specifications for technical, automation, and IT/OT requirements
* Ensure efficient production process design and implement a preventive maintenance program
* Support packaging, palletizing, and maintenance projects while ensuring compliance with Omya''s engineering and safety standards
* Support global maintenance strategies and best practices for packaging and palletizing equipment
* Conduct supplier audits and evaluations, ensuring technical excellence and maintenance support
* Define critical spare parts management and develop global KPIs to measure and optimize performance
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering, Automation or similar discipline
* At least 5 years working experience in relevant field
* Expertise in packing and palletization engineering systems
* Thorough understanding of packaging equipment operation
* Great time management skills and ability to organize, multi task, and prioritize
* Strong understanding of business challenges
* Solution oriented and proactive approach
* Willingness to travel up to 20 %
