Position OverviewEMEA Commercial Director – Reinforcement Materials (RM) segment, leading commercial strategy, customer partnerships, and a team of 9 across Sales, Technical Solutions, and Commercial Support. Will directly influence the growth and strategic direction of Cabot’s RM EMEA business.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Market LeadershipBuild and sustain strong, trust-based customer relationships across the region.Lead strategic customer account planning, including sales strategies and development plans.Identify customer challenges and drive cross‑functional solutions.Support technical solutions to promote new products and unlock new applications.Commercial Strategy ExecutionExecute and continuously refine the regional commercial strategy.Conduct market studies and lead market and product development activities.Develop and manage pricing strategies in alignment with product management.Gather and interpret market, competitive, and customer intelligence.Team LeadershipLead and develop a team of nine direct reports across Sales, Technical Solutions, and Commercial Support.Encourage a culture of performance, accountability, and customer focus.Provide coaching and development through Performance‑Based Management and Value Selling.Cross‑Functional InfluenceCollaborate with the Regional Performance Unit Leader on long‑term customer contracts.Ensure close integration with supply chain, operations, finance, and global business teams.Represent Cabot externally through presentations and customer seminars.Financial & Operational StewardshipDevelop and manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial processes to support annual plans.Drive accuracy and strong analytics within the regional commercial organization.QualificationsCapabilities & CompetenciesProven commercial leadership with a track record of driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Strong B2B sales and marketing expertise, ideally in chemicals, materials, industrials, or related sectors.Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills, able to use insights to guide decisions.Outstanding relationship‑building skills, earning trust and influencing at all levels.Effective negotiator, capable of managing complex deals and long‑term customer agreements.Skilled in developing and motivating diverse teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.Highly organized with strong planning, prioritization, and process skills.Ability to collaborate and lead in a matrixed, global organization.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.MBA or advanced degree preferred.10+ years in Sales roles.5+ years in commercial or sales leadership.Experience outside of sales—such as general management, finance, or operations—is a plus.
