Your Responsibilities
* Manage gas engine development projects throughout the entire project cycle, from feasibility assessment and project design to start of production.
* Support the definition of technical specifications with product management and customers, ensuring feasibility assessment of customer requirements.
* Prepare resources and cost planning for the projects.
* Develop the project organization and design in collaboration with internal interfaces and line management.
* Organize and present project meetings; maintain steady contact and exchange with internal partners from development (R&D) and other departments.
* Report to the steering committee and the Head of Product Line; conduct project reviews and regularly update project milestones and action plans in case of divergences.
* Ensure quality goals by involving external partners and secure compliance with project and product cost objectives.
Your Profile
* Successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering, automotive, mechatronics, or similar, with further education in project management.
* Proven expertise in project management with a track record of managing cross-functional customer projects in an international matrix organization.
* Training in Core Tools such as APQP and PPAP; Six Sigma Certification, IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3 are highly desired.
* Several years of professional experience in combustion engine development, with specific know-how in gas engines for heavy-duty and off-road applications.
* Fluent proficiency in English; good knowledge of German and French is highly desirable.
* Strong skills in MS Office and project management IT tools (e.g., MS Project).
* High sense of responsibility, open-minded, organized, with a strong team orientation; combines strategic and analytical skills with a hands-on mentality.
