Base pay range
CHF120,000.00/yr - CHF140,000.00/yr
We’re looking for a seasoned Agency Manager to lead and grow our Special Foundations activities in the Valais region. This is a strategic leadership position, combining business development, project oversight, and client management. You will play a key role in expanding our local footprint while ensuring the successful delivery of technically demanding projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development & Acquisition
o Identify new market opportunities and actively build relationships with potential clients, public authorities, and industry partners.
o Lead the end-to-end tendering process: analyzing client needs, designing technical solutions, preparing bids, and negotiating contracts.
o Represent the company at regional industry events and maintain a strong network with decision-makers in the Valais construction ecosystem.
o Collaborate closely with the regional acquisition team to align commercial strategy with technical feasibility.
* Project Leadership & Delivery
o Oversee the full lifecycle of special foundations projects in the region—from kickoff through to completion.
o Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to safety and quality standards.
o Supervise project teams, manage subcontractors, and allocate resources efficiently.
o Serve as the main point of contact for clients, handling contractual and operational matters.
o Work hand-in-hand with the civil engineering production department to coordinate timelines, technical specifications, and resource planning.
* Internal & Strategic Management
o Contribute to internal reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the agency.
o Promote best practices in execution, safety, sustainability, and client satisfaction.
o Actively support recruitment, talent development, and team cohesion within the agency.
What We’re Looking For
* Degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in special foundations or civil engineering, including client-facing and leadership responsibilities.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a hands-on, solution-driven mindset.
* Deep understanding of the economic landscape in Valais and strong local network.
* Fluent in French, proficient in English (B2/C1); German or Swiss German is a strong plus.
* Must be based in Valais or demonstrate strong regional familiarity.
