As a Global Nacora Brokerage Manager – Marine Cargo and Logistics Liability, you will be someone who combines technical expertise, leadership abilities, and strategic thinking. Your role will be pivotal in making Kuehne+Nagel the most trusted supply chain partner supporting a sustainable future. You will be responsible for managing and supporting the development of global insurance programs across 100+ countries, overseeing daily operations of corporate marine insurance programs such as Marine Cargo and Logistics Liability and contributing to the business development and sales of insurance products. You will support Nacora country organizations in 40+ countriesin developing policy best standards local, ensuring data accuracy and optimizing in-house IT tools for insurance data collection and reporting.
Day-to-day, you will maintain regular contact with insurers, underwriters, claims adjusters, and risk engineers, providing customer service to internal clients, including claims management and review of insurance requirements. You will organize and plan risk engineering site visits and surveys, conduct training on corporate insurance topics, and support ad-hoc insurance projects.
How you create impact
1. Manage corporate insurance programs in 100+ countries.
2. Supervise policy documentation, premium payment, commission collection, certificate issuance, data accuracy, and claims handling.
3. Review policy wordings and implement internal insurance guidelines.
4. Prepare insurance data for renewals, tenders, risk analysis, and acquisitions.
5. Engage comfortably with various functions within the organization on a daily basis, ensuring high-end stakeholder management
6. Provide top-tier in-house customer service and sales acumen.
What we would like you to bring
7. Minimum of 5 years in global insurance management, preferably in Marine Cargo and Logistics Liability.
8. Insurance qualification and university degree in insurance management, business economics, or related fields.
9. Experience in international insurance program management and insurance product sales
10. Strong analytical skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks with a good sense of urgency and attention to detail.
11. Highly effective characteristics: holistic thinking, accuracy, structured, efficient, flexible and responsive
12. Effective communication and ability to work with different levels of seniority.
13. Experience with selling insurance products is preferred
14. Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
