Responsibilities
1. Maintenance scheduling - Develop and maintain maintenance and calibration schedules for all plannable activities, including planned and unplanned tasks
2. Deadline escalation - Escalate any planned task not completed by its due date
3. Cross department communication - Liaise with production scheduling and customer departments to ensure equipment availability for maintenance
4. Weekly planning leadership - Lead weekly maintenance planning meetings to ensure issues are captured and resolved for on time delivery
5. Resource coordination - Ensure all planned activities are properly resourced, including arranging external contractors when needed
6. Material and spare parts control - Procure and allocate required materials, spares, and consumables
7. KPI reporting - Prepare and deliver maintenance planning and performance reports at agreed intervals
8. Process improvement - Continuously review and improve planning and scheduling processes to ensure Lean and compliant maintenance
9. Breakdown coordination - Act as the primary liaison with the workshop during breakdowns to organize troubleshooting activities
10. Additional duties - Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager
Profile
11. Engineering qualification - HND/HNC in an engineering or technical discipline
12. Maintenance experience - Strong practical knowledge of maintenance across diverse equipment, ideally in a pharmaceutical/GMP environment
13. Planning expertise - Solid understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles
14. SAP PM proficiency - Expert-level user of SAP PM
15. Language skills - Fluency in both English and German
16. Troubleshooting coordination - Experience organizing troubleshooting and breakdown response activities
17. Maintenance coordination - Ability to align planned maintenance with production schedules and personnel availability
18. Attention to detail - Strong accuracy, logical decision making, and tenacity
19. Team collaboration - Effective team worker with a shaper/completer mindset
20. Short term availability - Availability to support the team as a contingent worker for several months
