About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our organization in Zurich. The role involves managing direct and indirect tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. You will be part of an agile Group Taxes team within the Finance & Corporate Services division, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to address tax challenges effectively.

What you'll do
1. Manage global tax matters of the Group, including compliance and coordination with advisors and local accountants, focusing on corporate income taxes, VAT/GST, withholding taxes, financial transaction taxes, stamp duties, tax audits, and litigations.
2. Support the Financial Accounting & Reporting department with group tax accounting, tax notes, tax provision calculations, and project contributions related to tax processes.
3. Monitor and implement new tax regulations.
4. Govern operational tax matters such as FATCA, CRS reporting, US 871(m) reporting, tax reporting for certificates, withholding tax restrictions, and structured product tax queries.
5. Prepare tax ruling requests for new investment structures.
6. Manage parts of the global advisory and service provider network.
What you'll need
1. Diploma as Swiss Certified Tax Expert or equivalent (e.g., LLM in Swiss and International Taxation).
2. 5-10 years of relevant experience, especially in Swiss tax law within the financial industry.
3. Good understanding of accounting and reporting systems.
4. Higher education in business administration, economics, or law.
5. Excellent stakeholder management skills with an integrative and collaborative personality.
6. Proficiency in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
