JOB OVERVIEW
Are you passionate about thermoplastics and excited to improve how products are made?
As a Process Engineer – Thermoplastics, you will play a key role in analyzing, optimizing, and scaling manufacturing processes. You'll support new product implementation, drive quality and efficiency improvements, and help ensure smooth, stable production across the lifecycle of our thermoplastic technologies.
Working closely with R&D, product management, quality, and operations, you'll help build the technical foundation that enables innovation and excellence across our manufacturing network.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
* Analyze and optimize thermoplastic processes to improve efficiency, cycle times, and equipment performance
* Support the scale-up of new products from pilot phase to full industrial production
* Lead or contribute to process improvement and innovation initiatives
* Develop and monitor process control plans to ensure consistent product quality
* Transfer know-how and best practices across teams and sites
* Contribute to capital planning and evaluation of new equipment and technologies
WHAT YOU BRING
* Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
* 5–7 years of experience in thermoplastics process engineering or manufacturing
* Strong understanding of thermoplastic materials, processing methods, and equipment
* Analytical mindset and hands-on problem-solving skills
* Clear communication and ability to work across R&D, operations, and management
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Travel
Occasional travel (~30%) for cross-site collaboration and project execution.

Sind Sie begeistert von Thermoplasten und möchten Sie Produktionsprozesse aktiv gestalten und verbessern?
Als Process Engineer – Thermoplastics übernehmen Sie eine Schlüsselrolle: Sie analysieren und optimieren Fertigungsprozesse, unterstützen neue Produkte beim Übergang vom Labor in die Produktion und treiben Effizienz- und Qualitätssteigerungen voran.
Sie arbeiten eng mit F&E, Produktmanagement, Qualität und Operations zusammen und stellen sicher, dass Wissen, Best Practices und technische Weiterentwicklungen im gesamten Unternehmen erfolgreich umgesetzt werden.
IHRE AUFGABEN
* Analyse und Optimierung bestehender Thermoplast-Prozesse zur Steigerung von Effizienz, Qualität und Anlagennutzung
* Unterstützung neuer Produkte von der Pilotphase bis zur Serienproduktion
* Initiierung und Durchführung von Prozessverbesserungs- und Innovationsprojekten
* Entwicklung und Überwachung von Prozesskontrollen und Qualitätssicherungsplänen
* Wissenstransfer und Schulungen zur Stärkung der Prozesskompetenz im Unternehmen
* Mitwirkung bei Investitionsentscheidungen und Identifikation neuer Technologien
IHR PROFIL
* Abschluss in Engineering, Materialwissenschaften oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet
* 5–7 Jahre Erfahrung in Thermoplast-Prozessengineering oder Produktion
* Tiefes Verständnis von Materialien, Verarbeitung und Anlagen
* Analytische Fähigkeiten und strukturiertes Projektmanagement
* Ausgezeichnete Kommunikationsfähigkeiten und Freude an funktionsübergreifender Zusammenarbeit
* Selbstständige, lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise und Teamfähigkeit
Reisetätigkeit
Gelegentliche Reisen (ca. 30 %) für standortübergreifende Projekte und Implementierungen.
