THE ROLE

Responsible for setting and executing the company’s strategy for the Alpen Region. The Country/Sales Manager leads the sales team (AE’s and SAE’s) regarding sales objectives, sets and drives channel strategy with the PAM team, and oversees all activities with SE, Marketing, Services, PR, VAE, and other in-country supporting teams.

Reporting to: Vice President DACH

Stakeholders: SAE’s, AE’s, VAE’s, SE’s, Strategic/Regional PAMs, DPAM, Service Sales, and defined Channel Partners


Role Responsibilities

* Execute the GTM plan coverage model in the country/subregion, aligned with the regional plans defined by the Region’s VP.
* Orchestrate business activities in the country/subregion and fulfill the agreed sales targets, implementing strategic and quantitative goals.
* Support the assigned SAE’s and AE’s, utilizing resources like SE, PAM, support, marketing, PR, VAE efficiently.
* Establish channel strategy with the PAM team and drive its execution.
* Guide and support local account teams in acquiring new strategic accounts from a prospect list, focusing 90/10 between strategic accounts and new potential customers.
* Support existing customer relationships and channel partners to expand business across the Extreme portfolio.
* Plan, document, and coordinate activities regularly to meet personal and team goals with Sales Leadership.
* Monitor weekly sales opportunities, ensure accurate forecasting, and participate in forecast meetings. Update CRM and prepare visit reports on activities and potential business.
* Report sales performance metrics weekly, utilizing Account Planning modules within SFDC for tracking.
* Present business cases related to Strategic Accounts effectively to senior management.
* Coordinate internal stakeholders (VAE, SE, Service Sales) in developing account strategies, identifying opportunities, mapping client structures, and establishing long-term relationships.
