About Us
At POLYWOOD, we believe great design can shape how people experience the outdoors and we’re on a mission to do just that, sustainably. We transform landfill-bound plastic into high-design, durable outdoor furniture that invites people to connect more deeply with their surroundings, their loved ones, and their values.
As a company, we’re growing fast, but thoughtfully. Our in-house Creative Department plays a central role in shaping the voice, look, and feel of our brand across every touchpoint, from national campaigns to product launches to the imagery and stories that define who we are. We’re a collaborative team of designers, content creators, and storytellers who care deeply about quality, consistency, and impact.
The Creative Project Coordinator is a key connector across this ecosystem, ensuring clarity, flow, and structure without dampening the creative spark. You’ll help us stay aligned, efficient, and inspired as we continue to raise the bar on brand excellence and bring more sustainable beauty into the world.
If you’re passionate about making meaningful work with a purpose-driven team, we’d love to meet you.
About The Role
POLYWOOD is seeking a Creative Project Coordinator to manage high-level projects across our in-house Creative Department. In this role, you’ll not only keep our teams aligned and moving forward, you’ll also review incoming requests to ensure they’re fully scoped, jump in to knock out tasks within your own skill set, and help maintain momentum across a fast-paced pipeline of initiatives. From brand campaigns and product launches to internal marketing needs, you’ll keep our work on time, on brief, and on brand.
This role is ideal for a proactive, process-savvy project manager who balances operational excellence with a collaborative, can-do approach to creative work. You’ll serve as a vital bridge between our creative team and cross-functional partners across the company.
What You'll Do
* Design visually compelling content for paid media and organic campaigns across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Meta, Pinterest, and YouTube
* Own the day-to-day management of the Creative Department’s workload across all teams (design, video, imagery), ensuring work is prioritized, resourced, and delivered efficiently.
* Collaborate with the Creative Director to translate department goals into actionable project plans and balanced team workloads.
* Serve as a central point of coordination between creative teams and stakeholders across the company (marketing, product, sales, etc.).
Who You Are
You’re a visual storyteller at heart. You see a blank canvas and immediately start envisioning motion, texture, and emotion. You bring fresh ideas and modern aesthetics, with a sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of timing. You geek out over typography. You know when to lead with bold visuals and when to keep things clean and simple.
You thrive in collaborative spaces but can also own your creative zone with confidence. You scroll with purpose, always studying what’s next on social. Most of all, you're hungry to learn, grow, and create meaningful work that stands out.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a Creative discipline, Marketing, Advertising, Project Management, or Communications.
* 5+ years of experience in creative operations, project management, or studio management, ideally in a creative agency or in-house brand team.
* Experience leading or managing creative workflows and balancing workload across multiple team members or sub-teams.
* Knowledge of creative processes, design principles, and campaign development.
* Familiarity with project management tools (Jira/Atlassian suite preferred) and the ability to implement structure without stifling creativity.
* A background in or understanding of design, content creation, or creative strategy is highly desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to confidently communicate with leadership, creatives, and cross-functional partners.
* A passion for great design, sustainability, and outdoor living is a major plus.
Why POLYWOOD?
At POLYWOOD, we believe great design drives connection. We’re redefining what it means to build durable, sustainable outdoor furniture - and that same spirit of innovation drives our internal teams. This is a place where your ideas matter, your growth is encouraged, and your creativity makes a visible impact.
