Quality Control Specialist
Location: Canton Basel
In this hands-on role, you\'ll play a key part in ensuring that pharmaceutical production processes meet the highest quality standards. You\'ll be responsible for inspections, monitoring, and documentation in a GMP-compliant environment, contributing to the safety and reliability of critical healthcare products.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare production areas, equipment, and materials for operation
* Perform in-process and final product quality checks
* Make quality-related decisions within designated work zones
* Initiate and document deviations using digital systems
* Conduct microbiological and environmental monitoring
* Manage material quarantine and release workflows
* Support calibration and monitoring of production equipment
* Draft and maintain SOPs and controlled documents in eDMS
* Lead weekly inspection rounds in production areas
* Respond to internal and external support requests
* Review and archive logbooks and production records
* Support onboarding of new team members and identify training needs
What You Bring
* Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing or quality control
* Strong knowledge of GMP and cleanroom protocols
* Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with strict hygiene rules (no jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc.)
* High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
* Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule
* Fluent in German (mandatory); English is a plus
* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
