Global Sales Manager Job Description

This is a senior-level sales position responsible for developing and implementing global sales strategies to achieve company objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international markets and business practices, as well as excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.

The successful candidate will lead and manage the international sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service and support. They will identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the company's global presence and build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.

The Global Sales Manager will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and collaborating with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business goals. They will prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred. Specialized technology degree as a machinist or 7 years of related experience is also required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical sales management, preferably in a global context, is necessary. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets is essential.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies, and experience with CRM systems and sales performance metrics. Fluency in French, German, and English is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is essential. Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary. High level of integrity and professionalism is required. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the supervised team, clients, and partners is essential.
