Main responsibilities include:
1. Determining the technology system architecture and functional design to support business goals.
2. Evaluating existing IT systems for vulnerabilities affecting performance, security, or efficiency.
3. Designing and documenting the Enterprise Architecture using established models.
4. Maintaining key Enterprise Architecture deliverables.
5. Defining, implementing, and managing processes for architecture conformance.
6. Promoting best practices for architecture development and decision-making.
7. Engaging with business units to understand requirements and solutions strategies.
8. Assisting management in aligning IT assets with business missions.
9. Communicating the Enterprise Architecture within the organization.
10. Reviewing project portfolios for architecture compatibility.
11. Leading resolution of inter-project issues.
12. Creating comprehensive process views across systems.
13. Guiding application landscape towards customer value and technological advancements like cloud and mobility.
14. Ensuring adherence to application standards and avoiding unnecessary customizations.
15. Monitoring technology domains and assets.
16. Creating visual representations of system architecture models.
17. Proposing KPIs to monitor architecture health and performance.
18. Adapting Enterprise Architecture to digitalization trends.
19. Preparing the company for change and innovation.
20. Researching new analysis methods for potential use.
21. Representing Burckhardt Compression in collaborations with technology partners.
22. Contributing to the development and implementation of IT strategy.
Required knowledge, experience, and skills include:
1. Education in Computer Science, Business Engineering, or related fields (university, ETH, FH, HF).
2. Extensive project experience and knowledge of main applications like ERP.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of architectural disciplines.
4. Expertise in IT research and operational enhancement.
5. Proficiency in cloud computing.
6. Fluent in English; German is a plus.
7. Strong change management and intercultural skills.
