IT Service Engineering is a radical shift in how Axpo builds and operates IT services. We engineer IT services like products – with data quality, automation, and integration built in by design to deliver a consistent, scalable service experience across the Group.
The Product Owner – Service Engineering drives the service platform roadmap together with the Head of IT Service Engineering. The role shapes, maintains, and communicates the roadmap, translates strategy into a prioritized backlog, balances user value with platform health, and keeps the team focused on outcomes rather than only incoming requests. Critically, the role is outward‑facing: engaging directly with key internal customers, including Nuclear, Generation & Distribution, CKW, and Trading & Sales, to understand their requirements and drive their onboarding onto the platform.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, and Business IT. It ensures that IT service capabilities are not only technically sound, but also understandable, adoptable, and genuinely useful – making making the platform attractive to internal users by delivering real value in day‑to‑day use.
