Our client, an internationally renowned Pharmaceutical company, is recruiting. On its behalf we are now looking for a Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d) available immediately for the Zug area, to join an international team for a period of 3 years to start as soon as possible. Depending on the selected candidate's performance and motivation, there is a possibility of an extension or permanent takeover.
Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d) oversees and manages daily Supply Chain activities for international markets, by carrying out the following task areas:
* Responsible for movements of Commercial Product through the Supply Chain
* Acts as liaison with internal and external customers and vendors
* Close collaboration with the Commercial & Planning teams to ensure on time in full supply
* Manages FG shipments, replenishments to local 3PLs, shipping deviations and sales & inventory reporting for international markets
* Works closely with key stakeholders (e.g. Finished Goods Planning, Quality, Commercial, Finance, S&OP, Packaging Engineering)
* Routinely identifies and communicates any shipment risks to management and supports recommendations and implementation of corrective actions to minimize supply risks
* Analyses cross functional and logistics processes and identifies/ implements solutions in order to improve the quality and efficiency of the supply chain
* Ensures desired customer service levels are met and to ensure continuous product supply
Qualifications
* Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain or equivalent
* Minimum 2-4 years' working experience within supply chain / logistics
* Experience within the Biotech/Pharma/Food/Medical device environment would be beneficial
* Experience within an internal and controlled environment
* Experienced user in supply chain and manufacturing planning tools
* Fluency in English (verbally & written)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong analytical capabilities, familiar with working in a complex and fast-paced environment
* Proactive personality with a can-do attitude and attention to detail
* Professional appearance, a team player and ability to communicate in a simple and structured way
