Position
Your main responsibility is to design, configure and execute control systems for gas turbines. Your focus will be on hardware specification, engineering and integration, in coordination and cooperation with system suppliers.
Your tasks
1. Prepare specifications for gas turbine control systems and components;
2. Establish and maintain design rules in compliance with technical requirements and applicable codes & standards;
3. Engineer field loops for sensors and actuators;
4. Initiate and support the preparation of design, manufacturing and commissioning documentation;
5. Configure and customize the gas turbine control system according to project requirements;
6. Facilitate procurement activities and supplier selection with technical expertise;
7. Support and supervise suppliers during project execution;
8. Specify and conduct factory acceptance tests;
9. Provide troubleshooting assistance during erection and commissioning;
10. Conduct hand-over to service organization.
Requirements
Your profile
11. Degree in electrical or automation engineering;
12. At least 5 years of experience in designing & executing control & automation systems for power or process plants;
13. Good acquaintance with industrial automation products & components;
14. Expertise in I&C loop and bus network design;
15. Familiarity with applicable codes and standards;
16. Proficiency in working with integrated planning & engineering tools (preferably EPLAN);
17. Knowledge of functional safety and cyber-security is a plus;
18. Strong commitment to deliver according to quality, time and cost targets;
19. Team player;
20. Excellent command of English, German is an advantage, further knowledge of Italian would be an asset.
