Ph3Position Summary /h3 pWe are a global leader in the research, design, integration, manufacture, certification, and lifetime service of flight control, hydraulic, fuel, fluid conveyance, thermal management, lubrication, and pneumatic systems and components for aerospace, energy and other high-technology markets. The Parker Meggitt facility in Fribourg, Switzerland, designs and manufactures complete condition monitoring, vibration monitoring, and measurement solutions for the aerospace and energy industries. /p pJoining our team means you are helping to deliver our purpose of ‘Enabling Engineering Breakthroughs that Lead to a Better Tomorrow’. A career at Parker MEGGITT offers boundless potential for professional and personal growth. You will work alongside the brightest minds in the world, help develop innovative technology and products and contribute to our company’s goal of solving the world’s greatest engineering challenges. /p h3Master Internship (6 months) /h3 h3The Position /h3 pDuring this internship, you will design and prototype a standardized, semi-automated workflow to consolidate hazardous substances product compliance data across systems. You will extract BOMs, mechanical and composition data from SAP/ERP and other databases. Based on this data, the solution shall then calculate substance contents and percentages at component level, and create component Bill of Substances. This will be used to generate REACH/RoHS compliance data and respective declarations as well as material composition reports at part/assembly level, producing auditable outputs for stakeholders. /p h3Project objectives and key deliverables /h3 ul liEnd-to-end process map (BOM extraction, supplier engagement, data validation, assessment, reporting) /li liUnified data model and data dictionary for parts, materials, substances, and regulations. /li liETL prototype (Python/SQL) for BOM ingest from SAP/ERP, supplier data import (e.g., IPC-1752A/1754), normalization, and validation /li liCompliance rules engine to compute substance percentages and evaluate SVHC thresholds at part/assembly levels /li liAutomated Report Generator: templated DoC output (PDF/Word), data mapping, versioning, digital sign-off, localization, and audit trail /li liSample compliance dashboard and reports (part/assembly status, exceptions, supplier completeness) /li liSupplier communication package: standardized data request forms and guidance. /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liBackground in Data Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering or equivalent /li liFamiliar with ETL design, data normalization, API/ODATA/RFC integrations with SAP/ERP and JSON/CSV/Excel ingestion /li liKnowledge of Python and SQL (or equivalent) /li liRigorous and organized /li liHands‑on attitude and team spirit /li liCuriosity and willingness to learn /li liFrench with good English level /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
