This role focuses on operational procurement, supplier coordination, and ensuring compliance with established procurement processes. The position requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and is comfortable in a project-driven environment. Fluency in English is essential, and German proficiency is strongly preferred for local stakeholder interaction. A minimum of three days on-site in Visp is required. /ppPlease note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport. /ppbResponsibilities: /b /pliExecute end-to-end operational buying activities for Capex projects, including requisition, purchase order creation, and closeout. /liliPrepare and issue purchase orders in SAP, ensuring alignment with approved sourcing decisions. /liliTrack order confirmations, deliveries, and invoice alignment. /liliSupport RFQ processes by collecting data, comparing bids, and maintaining transparent documentation. /liliAssist senior buyers with supplier communication regarding pricing, delivery, and documentation. /liliAct as the procurement contact for specific work packages within Capex projects. /liliCoordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure schedule adherence and cost tracking. /liliCommunicate with suppliers on order execution topics and ensure compliance with procurement policies, GMP, and EHS requirements. /liliMaintain accurate procurement documentation and records. /lipbKey Skills and Requirements: /b /pliBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field. /liliInitial experience in procurement, supply chain, or operational buying is preferred. /liliExposure to technical engineering or Capex environments is an advantage. /liliStructured and detail-oriented working style. /liliAbility to work effectively in project environments with multiple stakeholders. /liliStrong learning mindset and willingness to develop procurement capabilities. /liliBasic understanding of commercial and contractual principles. /liliSAP experience is preferred. /liliFluent English is required; German proficiency is strongly preferred. br/ /li
