Our client, a leading international company in the industrial sector, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team. This is a broad, commercially focused generalist role supporting a complex and fast-moving business.Key responsibilitiesDrafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts (supplier, customer, distribution, framework and service agreements)Advising on corporate and governance matters, including board support, internal policies and compliance frameworksProviding guidance on regulatory, compliance and risk management issues relevant to an industrial environmentManaging and coordinating external counsel where requiredWorking closely with finance, procurement, operations, HR and senior leadership as a true business partnerContributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the legal function and internal processesA qualified lawyer (Swiss or EU qualification preferred) with 8+ years\' PQEA background in private practice and/or in-house, ideally with exposure to industrial, manufacturing, engineering or energy-related businessesStrong experience in commercial contracts and general corporate lawFluent in German and English; additional languages are a plusThe ability to provide practical, solution-driven advice in a fast-paced business environmentConfidence working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex, cross-border issuesA proactive, hands-on and commercially minded approach
