Join to apply for the Travel Operations Manager role at MyMountains.

If you absolutely love mountains, have excellent planning, superior organizational skills, an unwavering eye for detail, and are fluent in German and English, then we want you on our team!

As a Travel Operations Manager, you will collaborate with our team to identify, book, and manage high‑quality, budget‑friendly travel experiences for our Swiss clientele. You will also support customers in exploring Switzerland by creating itineraries, negotiating prices with suppliers, and handling customer requests via phone or email.


Responsibilities

* Manage our pool of Tour Guides and Ski Instructors: availabilities, bookings, contracts, etc.
* Handle bookings: hotels, restaurants, trains, entrance fees, and other services.
* Create detailed itineraries for clients.
* Negotiate prices with suppliers.
* Publish and upload offers for our clients.
* Perform administrative tasks such as paying invoices and filing.
* Provide customer support via phone or email.
* Work shifts to cover weekends and holidays (minimum two weekends per month).


Requirements

* Autonomous and highly organized.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proactively identifies and offers solutions to optimise processes.
* Natural problem‑solver with a positive, “nothing is impossible” attitude.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in tourism.
* Helpful and positive presence.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in German and excellent English; additional languages are a plus.
* Experience or passion for skiing or hiking is a plus.

To qualify, candidates must either be Swiss citizens or possess the legal authorization to reside and work in Switzerland.
