Global Sourcing Manager Consumables (100%)
Männedorf, Zürich
Your contribution
In this role, you will be at the heart of our global supply chain for consumables, driving both operational excellence and strategic initiatives
Operational Tasks
1. Run MRP for assigned portfolios (consumables/service parts): stock allocation by central warehouses, data analysis, and forecasting
2. Proactively communicate with stakeholders on material availability, risks, and recovery plans
3. Partner with production plants and suppliers to refine order sizes, intervals, and delivery performance
4. Support product lifecycle management, including phase-in and phase-out activities
5. Generate and analyze KPIs and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement
6. Champion process enhancements within Distribution Logistics
7. Escalate critical issues swiftly to safeguard business continuity
8. Maintain high standards of master-data quality and auditability
Strategic Tasks
9. Run supplier offer evaluations
10. Oversee supplier selection, relationship management, and performance reviews
11. Organize quarterly business reviews with internal and external stakeholders
12. Collaborate across functions to align supply chain with business goals
13. Advance sustainability initiatives throughout the supply chain
Your background

14. Technical or commercial education, ideally with advanced training in supply chain or procurement
15. 5+ years' experience in supply chain or materials management
16. Proficient in SAP R/3, S/4HANA, IBP and Business Warehouse
17. Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
18. Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
19. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities
20. Independent, assertive, and disciplined with data
21. Good practical experience in the application of AI tools and technologies
22. Customer-focused, collaborative, flexible, and solution-oriented
