Business Development & Sales Executive (Mandarin Speaking) European Snowsport is expanding both its winter and summer business. ES is expanding by attracting Chinese and Mandarin speaking or Asian clientele ready for 2026 winter and summer and beyond. Luxury tour and skiing packages have been programmed and we need a Mandarin speaker with understanding of the Chinese market to sell, network and host and for these tours, manage the holidays and build connections with Chinese clients. The role will also require the person to visit and network in China and network at trade shows. Requirements: • Fluent Mandarin/University degree in Mandarin Language. • Fluent English. • Knowledge and experience and understanding with Chinese culture and traditions including ‘cultural nuances’ in Chinese society. • Experience living in China or HongKong • Sales and marketing experience • Instructor Qualification/License (BASI2 or higher equivalent) • People Person and friendly manner • Knowledge of 4 Valleys ski area Role • This is a business development and sales role which require the person to connect and network with Asian clients and attract new clients ongoing. • Building relationships with new clients, strengthening ties with existing customers, and negotiating contracts for strategic partnerships. • promote and sell Mandarin speaking tours to China and Taiwan markets. • Assist with developing tours with appeal to Mandarin speaking clients; winter and summer • Translation of website pages and marketing materials to Mandarin • Creation of detailed descriptive documents for selling to Mandarin speaking clients (in Mandarin) • Respond to pre-arrival enquiries from Mandarin speaking clients • Attend in-house training and induction start • Deliver training to other instructors on working with Mandarin speaking clients • Detailed knowledge of product delivered, including accommodation, activities, resort knowledge • Ensure guests are aware of concierge services during week and make self available for assistance as needed. Hosting • In-resort concierge services to Mandarin speaking clients • Hosting and guiding Mandarin speaking clients during tours • Provide feedback to management and input on product development • Other duties as set out in contract The job is a full time long term role based from our HQ in Verbier, Valais. The position will also involve trips to China to network and sell tours.
