Trade Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) – Import / Export / SAP / English / German
Project:For our customer Roche Diagnostics International AG based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a qualified Trade Compliance Specialist(m/f/d)
Background:The Import & Export Sub-Chapter, part of the global Instrument Operations Network at Roche DiagnosticsInternational AG, is the backbone of our regulatory integrity. Based in Rotkreuz, we ensure full compliance withnational and international laws. We are looking for a dedicated expert who is passionate about driving Export Control forward and actively shaping our global compliance landscape.
The Perfect Candidate:You are a trade compliance professional who thrives on autonomy and precision. You have a proven track record inExport Control and are accustomed to navigating complex regulatory environments independently. With abackground in foreign trade and a proactive mindset, you bridge the gap between operational excellence and legalnecessity.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Compliance Leadership: Ensure export control compliance at the Rotkreuz site in close collaboration with the Local Export Control Officer (LECO).
* IMCP Management: Take ownership of developing, monitoring, and refining the Internal Management & Compliance Program (IMCP).
* Product Classification: Actively support the classification of goods and conduct sanctions list, embargo, and dual-use checks (including releasing blocks) within SAP GTS.
* License Management: Handle end-to-end license management, including the application andadministration of licenses with the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
* Process Optimization & Training: Define, implement, and continuously improve foreign trade processes and lead internal training sessions to foster a culture of compliance.
* Consulting & Projects: Act as a subject matter expert for internal departments and represent export control interests in both local and global projects.
* Regulatory Monitoring: Stay ahead of changing regulations and ensure seamless implementation during operational audits and interactions with authorities.
Must Haves:
* Completed commercial education with several years of professional experience in Import, Export or Trade
* Experience in an international industrial environment
* Solid knowledge of Swiss, European and international export control regulations
* Independent, analytical and results-oriented working style with strong communication skills and team- oriented mindset
* Advanced German and English language skills
Nice to have:
* - Technical Skills: Advanced user knowledge of SAP GTS and MS Office
* US Regulations: Familiarity with US Export Control regulations (EAR) is an advantage
