Design Assistant Strellson (d/f/m)
In this exciting and varied role as a Design Assistant at Strellson, you will play an active and responsible part in creating collections for the jacket, coat and leather product groups. As part of your role, you will also be responsible for producing technical sketches, maintaining the system for all styles, items and products, and for model development for the PLV and retail merchandise sectors, working closely with the pattern‑making department. In addition, you will be responsible for documenting the products at each stage and overseeing the collection through to production readiness in terms of fit and workmanship checks. Attending fittings and visiting international trade fairs round off your exciting role.
Required experience and skills:
A successfully completed degree in fashion design
Ideally, some initial professional experience
Good written and spoken English
Very good knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, as well as good knowledge of Word and Excel
Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure
Initiative, independence and a sense of responsibility
Persuasiveness and a confident manner
Strong communication and organisational skills
Creativity and a strong passion for fashion and lifestyle
