As a Vice President of Payroll Operations, you will lead the accurate and timely delivery of payroll for Switzerland.
This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders and external vendors to streamline payroll processes, enhancing the overall control environment, and proactively mitigating risk through effective governance.
Job Responsibilities
* Ensure end-to-end processing and delivery of monthly payroll.
* Meet monthly tax payments and compliance requirements for Switzerland Payroll.
* Respond to and resolve employee payroll queries with strong customer service skills.
* Collaborate with internal partners (Finance and HR) for seamless payroll processing.
* Partner with external payroll vendors for timely and accurate service delivery.
* Evaluate payroll processes for continuous improvement and identify risks with proposed solutions.
* Maintain confidentiality and comply with data privacy regulations at all times.
* Work across EMEA regions in partnership with other team members to standardize procedures and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience leading teams locally and remotely.
* Demonstrate ability to drive efficiency through Intelligent Automation.
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end Payroll processes, Tax, and Employment Laws, as well as Payroll Accounting practices.
* Manage complex cross-border, shadow payroll, and expatriate work arrangements.
* Organizational skills and ability to prioritize deliverables.
* Self-motivated and result-oriented individual with leadership experience.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
* Able to make sound business decisions and escalate issues when necessary.
* Develop strong partnerships with colleagues across the organization and external partners.
* Able to facilitate changes in procedures, processes, and systems.
* Fluent in English and French (verbal and oral) with strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Experience with ADP Global View and ADP Decidium.
* Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and presentation.
* Vendor management experience.
* Previous experience in large global multi-national organizations.
* Experience with other EMEA payrolls, in internal or external payroll organizations.
