About the Role:
We are looking for a talented controller to join the Group Controlling department, which supports MSC Cargo across a specific scope of countries.
The objective of the position is to develop partnerships for business and finance activities. In addition to standard financial controlling activities, the role involves deep dive analysis and strong collaboration with departments to influence strategy and decision-making. You will interact with a diverse, international team and be part of a finance transformation process to elevate management information in Finance. The department's responsibilities include controlling and overseeing financial information and operational costs generated worldwide, providing financial insights and transparency to support operational and commercial decisions.
Your Impact:
* Analyze and identify revenue and cost optimization opportunities.
* Assist the Regional CFO with daily management of assigned countries and organize country visits.
* Review foreign exchange exposure.
* Lead ad hoc global analyses in collaboration with regional teams.
Your Background:
* Master's Degree in Finance or Economics.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance, audits, controlling, financial planning, analysis, or equivalent roles.
* Shipping experience is mandatory.
* Advanced Excel skills and ability to execute analyses using financial and analytical tools.
* Knowledge of SAP.
* Analytical and critical thinking mindset.
* Ability to learn quickly.
* Result-oriented and able to work under pressure.
* Proactive, self-starter with an opportunity-seeking attitude.
* Strong communication skills and team player.
* Excellent command of English (written and spoken); additional language skills (French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, etc.) are a plus.
* Based in Geneva.
* Full-time, permanent position, starting ASAP.
* EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit required.
