Job Overview

DevOps Engineer
with solid experience in
deploying and managing Java/Spring Boot web applications

What you'll do:
* Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment lifecycle of Java/Spring Boot applications
* Oversee and manage deployments to production, ensuring stability and rollback readiness
* Monitor system and application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and other observability tools, proactively addressing issues before they impact users
* Support and maintain containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) for Java/Spring Boot microservices
* Collaborate closely with development teams to align deployment processes with software design and integration needs
* Investigate and troubleshoot runtime or deployment issues across development, staging, and production environments
What you bring:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
* Proven experience deploying and maintaining Java/Spring Boot applications in CI/CD environments
* Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot development is a strong plus
* Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
* Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
* Solid knowledge of Linux systems and Unix shell scripting
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to deployment reliability and production stability
Excellent communication skills in
English
and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
Location Requirement:
* We do not offer a fully remote work policy
* Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino (Switzerland)or Italian Border Towns (such as Como, Varese, etc.)
* Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
