You report directly to the Group CSO and are responsible for managing key accounts and expanding market presence across the American continent, with a focus on North America. You analyze market potential and implement strategic initiatives independently and effectively – in close coordination with the CSO and in cooperation with R&D, engineering and production. With strong leadership skills, you lead the technically skilled US-based sales team with competence and vision. The role involves approximately 40% travel for customer engagement and business development.
Responsibilities
 * Manage key accounts and expand market presence across the American continent, focusing on North America.
 * Analyze market potential and implement strategic initiatives in coordination with the CSO, R&D, engineering and production.
 * Lead the US-based sales team, providing leadership, competence and vision.
 * Engage in customer development and business development activities with ~40% travel.
Qualifications
 * Tertiary-level technical education, complemented by further training in sales or marketing – or many years of experience in technical sales of high-precision, fully-customized products.
 * Ability to analyze markets confidently, use modern sales tools and actively pursue new business opportunities.
 * Fluent in English (spoken and written); good command of French or willingness to develop it further. German is an advantage.
 * Work location: headquarters in the Neuchâtel region.
 * Background in Business Development for fully-customized products.
