The EHS Manager drives the successful implementation and continuous improvement of Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety (EHS) programs in collaboration with assigned manufacturing facilities. This role serves as the primary EHS contact for Large Scale Plants in Visp, enabling safe, compliant, and sustainable chemical manufacturing.

What You Will Do
Serve as the main point of contact for EHS topics and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
Support and conduct EHS risk assessments, including technical change evaluations
Participate in Safety Gemba Walks, audits, inspections, and incident investigations, providing subject matter expertise
Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and track progress on EHS initiatives
Collaborate with Safety Coaches, including their selection, training, and ongoing support
Deliver EHS trainings in line with the site’s training strategy and promote a strong safety culture
Support workplace risk assessments, Personal Protective Equipment guidance, fire safety, and emergency response activities
What we are looking for:
University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology or equivalent profession
