Your tasks:
1. Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for the valve product line
2. Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs
3. Define product requirements, specifications, and business cases in collaboration with engineering and sales
4. Drive new product development initiatives and manage the full product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life
5. Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction; lead continuous improvement efforts
6. Support sales and marketing with technical product information, training, and promotional material
7. Manage product pricing, margin, and positioning to optimize profitability
8. Act as the internal and external product expert, including participation in customer visits, trade shows, and technical presentations
Your profile:
9. A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering with a focus on business economics or a comparable technical or economic field of study, and/or a technical apprenticeship and additional training
10. Strong ability to translate customer needs into solutions and understand the impact of technologies, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
11. Pro-active nature who likes to take the initiative and ownership
12. Used to working across teams and departments with the ability to structure and coordinate different stakeholders
13. English and German language skills must be at a high professional level
14. Willingness to travel worldwide up to 15% of the time
