About the role:
As a skilled full stack developer, you will contribute to expanding our global analytics platform, fueled by rich data generated by our in-house end-to-end trading system and external datasets.
You will have the opportunity to interface directly with the business, ranging from tank operators to top management, to drive requirements and deliver various capabilities.
As a member of the analytics team, located in Geneva, Switzerland, you will:
* Work with a distributed team to develop strategic sets of analytics applications.
* Participate in the full development life cycle, from definition to design to delivery.
* Work directly with end users to drive requirements and deliver valuable features.
* Meet tight deadlines while focusing on quality and performance.
* Collaborate with the global team, including participation in daily scrum meetings, peer reviews, and design sessions.
* Deliver testable and maintainable code for globally distributed systems.
Please find below the key qualifications required for this position:
Key qualifications:
* University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent field.
* 5-8 years' experience working with C# and related .NET technologies within global enterprise solutions.
* 5+ years in front-end development, preferably web development using React.
* Excellent user interface building skills, with a perfectionist approach to styling and CSS.
* Possess a passion for creating the best user experience.
* Strong proficiency in modular JavaScript, async patterns, and DOM manipulation.
* Awareness of continuous integration and delivery concepts/technologies.
* Experience with RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
* Ability to interact with stakeholders to progress design and satisfy requests.
* Takes great pride in the finished project, with a keen eye for detail.
* Experience working in an agile scrum development model.
* Proactive and user-focused, with a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in both functional and technical aspects of each challenge encountered.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
* Excellent English oral and written skills - French is a plus.
