About the Job
The Cluster Sales Manager is part of the Sales & Marketing department and is responsible for overseeing all sales‑related activities for both Mandarin Oriental Palace, Lucerne and Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zürich. This includes analysing sales forecasts, identifying market opportunities, cultivating key client relationships, and representing both properties at trade fairs, roadshows and industry events.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement proactive sales activities daily to increase sales and market share.
* Sell rooms, suites, event rooms and restaurants.
* Carry out marketing activities with relevant business partners.
* Monitor production figures for the customer portfolio to ensure targets are achieved.
* Develop and maintain good business relationships with partners and guests.
* Proactively sell Mandarin Oriental hotels worldwide.
* Conduct ongoing market and competitor monitoring.
* Represent the hotels at trade fairs, roadshows and internal events.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury hotel industry or sales department of a hotel.
* Very good network at regional, national or international level.
* Expressive, open‑minded and team‑spirit oriented.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High quality awareness and sense for trends.
* Good computer knowledge.
* Excellent manners towards guests, clients, colleagues and superiors with consideration for intercultural aspects.
* Well‑groomed appearance and positive charisma.
* Resilience and flexibility – the position includes business trips.
* Very good German and English; additional foreign languages are an advantage.
