As member of the Release Planning team, you will manage the Joint Release Planning (JRP) activities for Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Air Navigation Services (ANS) technology releases, overseeing the deployment of evolutions from three technology divisions. To ensure the success of these releases, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all JRP-related activities, while anticipating any possible setbacks and adjusting the planning as needed. The role places strong emphasis on validating operational readiness, ensuring that all releases meet the predefined compliance, performance and stability criteria before deployment in operational and non-operational environments.
* Act as Application Owner of the Joint Release Planning tool
* Act as deputy to the Process Manager for the 'Joint Release Planning & Governance' and 'Releases & Deployment' processes
* Ensure realistic planning and scoping of ATM / ANS releases. Check with the relevant stakeholders (business analysts, quality officers, technical assurance managers and engineering change managers) that dependencies and constraints are identified and managed
* Ensure system configurations required for planned releases are available in a timely manner
* Generate key performance indicators related to the release lifecycle and create and submit release reports
* Use these reports and indicators to support engineering change managers in making deployment go / no-go decisions and to facilitate lessons learned sessions
* Engineering degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or equivalent
* Minimum 5 years of experience working on processes and activities related to release / project management and deployment
* Hands-on experience with the application lifecycle management tool 'Polarion'
