We are searching for a
Senior E-Commerce & Digital Merchandising Manager (f/m/d)
We are seeking a strategic yet hands-on digital expert to lead the performance of our EU and CH online stores. Based in St. Gallen and part of a Swiss family-owned company, you will shape the e-commerce and merchandising strategy, enhance the onsite experience, and drive digital growth — all while ensuring alignment with the Akris brand and collaborating across teams.
This includes the following tasks:
* E-Commerce Strategy & Operations: Own the daily management and performance of our stores; monitor key KPIs (sales, AOV, CVR, bounce rate, LTV) to identify growth opportunities
* Merchandising & Site Experience: Curate product assortments, ensure consistent styling and data accuracy, and improve site navigation and taxonomy for optimal customer journeys
* UX & Conversion Optimization: Identify and implement UX/UI improvements and run A/B tests to continuously enhance the luxury shopping experience
* Content & Campaign Support: Align product presentation with seasonal campaigns and partner with content teams to deliver compelling, conversion-driven assets
* Customer Retention & Personalization: Work with CRM and marketing teams to personalize the experience, increase customer loyalty, and improve repeat purchase rates
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the key point of contact between digital marketing, IT, merchandising, and customer service; represent e-commerce in strategic projects and share best practices with regional and global teams to ensure cohesive brand execution.
What makes you a great fit:
* 8–10 years of experience in e-commerce, ideally in luxury fashion or premium retail.
* Proven track record in digital merchandising, e-commerce performance management, and commercial growth.
* Deep knowledge of Shopify, GA4, SEO, analytics tools, and UX best practices.
* Experience working in small to mid-sized companies, preferably in an international or family-owned context.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent in English; German is a plus
