Electronics Systems Architect
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Systems Architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for developing and stabilizing solution architectures for bids and projects throughout their lifecycle.
* This includes designing and executing printed circuit boards, as well as overseeing product development within our systems engineering department.
* You will lead architecture and requirements definition, including analysis of customer and stakeholder requirements, defining development and verification logic, and defining interfaces and requirements for external partners.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be involved in trade-off analyses of system concepts in multidisciplinary teams, power conversion, control, and data architecture definition, setting up flow-down budgets, risk management, preparing key project documentation, verification control, system configuration and support documentation, participation in proposal preparations, presentations and reviews, and technical communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in electrical product development
* Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Proficiency with eCAD tools like Siemens EDA Xpedition
* Knowledge of Monte Carlo/circuit simulation tools (e.g., OrCAD PSpice)
* Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (advantage)
* Familiarity with Requirements Management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS)
* Electronics circuit design and simulation expertise (Pspice, LTSpice, Matlab/Simulink, Modelica)
* Fluent English communication skills; German is a plus
* Self-motivation, responsibility, reliability
* Strong communication skills and teamwork experience
* Experience in Systems Engineering, architecture, and problem-solving
* Experience across the product lifecycle
* Minimum 5 years industry experience in electronics hardware development
* PCB/CCA design experience for various applications
* RF design experience (advantage)
* Experience in space or aviation (advantage)
* Embedded Software/VHDL experience (advantage)
* Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) experience (advantage)
