Join our Product Management team as a Systems Architect, where you'll serve in a key leadership role driving our Pivot to Value (P2V) initiatives. This position combines strategic systems thinking with hands-on product management, directly impacting safety, quality, delivery, cost, and capacity outcomes across our Gas Power portfolio.
You'll translate complex stakeholder requirements into configurable, value-optimized module and system designs that balance technical excellence with business objectives, while collaborating across functions to drive informed decision-making.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Systems Ownership & Lifecycle Management
* Own designated modules/systems from definition through fulfillment, servicing, and end-of-life
* Drive P2V initiatives that create measurable business value and optimize product architecture
* Oversee initial cut-in project applications and validate long-term sustainability of initiatives
Requirements Translation & Configurability
* Transform product and stakeholder functional requirements into clear, actionable module/system specifications
* Evaluate configurability across plant and product modules to identify standardization and harmonization opportunities
* Define and document interface controls between modules/systems to minimize installed and lifecycle costs
Strategic Planning & Execution
* Strategize roadmap for Electrical MLIs in MSD for project negotiations, standardization & establish a standard process to comeup with pipeline for cost productivity.
* Plan and manage productivity initiatives end-to-end, including resource allocation, cost estimation, and risk mitigation strategies
* Develop make/buy, do/buy, and reuse strategies optimized for each module/system
* Analyze large, multi-source datasets to generate actionable insights and innovative solutions
Supply Chain & Sourcing Strategy
* Assess market suppliers and optimize supply contracts and specifications
* Ensure fulfillment strategies meet cost, lead-time, and quality requirements
* Prioritize Should Cost/Process modelling efforts for CWs to meet project negotiations & Standardization program deadlines.
* Collaborate with GCLs & drive deeper adoption of Should Cost during supplier negotiations
* Leverage Should Cost/process models to derive insights on component commonality & drive discussions around stocking strategy for/with vendors
Design Verification & Validation
* Lead or participate in verification and validation of designs from engineering teams and suppliers
* Ensure designs enable independent work streams that integrate seamlessly
* Drive performance accountability relative to fulfillment and sustainability goals
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field
* Extensive experience in engineering, operations, product management, sourcing, or related disciplines
* Demonstrated ability to translate complex requirements into practical solutions

* Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or technical discipline
* Deep expertise in systems engineering and systems thinking, including concept development, system/product design, requirements management, and risk management
* Plant and systems-level knowledge

* Experience in supplier negotiations and contract discussions
* Proficiency with should-cost analysis and its application in supplier negotiations
* Strong business case development and analysis capabilities
