Review, research, and interpret non-standard operative provisions and contracts submitted by various clients and external representatives.

Essential Functions
* Prepares and maintains provider contracting documents
* Review initial contracts and contract amendments, and execute
* Follows up with providers for outstanding contracting information/documentation
* Provides service and education to network providers during the recruitment process
* Track contract negotiations with vision care providers for ongoing recruitment projects in assigned states/counties
* Utilize necessary resources and navigate systems efficiently to accurately verify provider data
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude; work with members of staff on identifying process improvements; and perform other duties as assigned by management
* Facilitate mass outreach efforts (email/fax blasts)
* Generate recruitment reporting
* Act as a liaison between Provider Contracting and other internal departments
* Contribute to the creation of department SOPs
* General supervision of completed work and monitoring against established goals
* Use considerable discretion, judgment, and independent problem‑solving
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Physician Contracting
* Preferred: minimum of 1 year experience with Medicare and Medicaid programs

* Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
* Ability to explain plan benefit compensation terms to physicians and staff
* Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Strong organization and time management capabilities
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
* Ability to travel within short time constraints (occasionally)
* Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge; ability to learn internal systems to explain plan, benefit compensation terms to physicians and staff

Compensation
Salary Range: $27,000 – $32,000 per year.
The compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law. As a part of the compensation package, this role may include eligible bonuses and commissions.
