Head of Sourcing Outsourcing & Offshoring
Chain IQ Group AG is seeking a dynamic leader to manage indirect spend sourcing in IT outsourcing and offshoring (ITO) and BPO. The role reports to the Global Head of Outsourcing & Offshoring and leads a team of Strategic Sourcers in the UK and Switzerland, with global account leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain robust stakeholder relationships; oversee day-to-day management of a dedicated CIQ team for multiple clients (management tasks ~90% of time; sourcing execution ~10%).
* Manage and mentor a team of Strategic Sourcers, leading sourcing initiatives from smaller projects to strategic purchases up to multi-hundred million and occasionally greater than $1B, with minimal oversight.
* Provide global leadership across client accounts, ensuring consistent delivery standards and strategic alignment.
* Negotiate commercial terms, draft contracts based on standard terms, lead cross-functional deal teams, and coordinate with senior stakeholders; build and maintain supplier relationships and monitor market trends for assigned categories.
* Allocate sourcing initiatives, provide guidance, oversee complex/high-focus sourcing projects, and manage client escalations related to the team.
* Adhere to Chain IQ's sourcing tools and processes; identify opportunities to generate savings via smarter, more efficient sourcing; mentor and coach experienced professionals on complex deals.
* Conduct team appraisals, develop training plans, and provide consistent leadership to achieve individual and collective objectives; collaborate with HR on team matters.
Requirements
* University-standard education or equivalent; MCIPS desirable.
* Minimum 10 years in management leadership roles.
* Proven market knowledge of ITO and BPO; ability to advise highly skilled team members and drive value for clients.
* Experience running large multi-million/global deals and managing end-to-end tender processes.
* Hands-on deal execution, highly organized, cross-functional leadership.
* Strong client/stakeholder focus, ability to influence senior stakeholders, and excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to structure complex deals and develop sourcing strategies; manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
* Experience with market-leading sourcing tools and systems; professional, flexible team player.
