The Human Resources Department has the main mission of ensuring the development of the human capital of the institution in light of evolving needs. The HR policy of the HUG is based on the development of skills and professional paths in line with institutional needs and focuses on considering the individual, work-life balance, and health and safety at work. With nearly [number] staff and the Department of [Department Name] and a medical center focused on the elderly distributed across 5 sites: Trois-Chêne, Loëx, Bellerive, Beau-Séjour, and Joli-Mont, it takes care of acute cases, thanks notably to the emergency services of the Trois-Chêne hospital, addressing age-related specific issues, medical problems, and human resources needs. As the Deputy Human Resources Manager of the [Department Name], you will actively participate in the management of human resources in your department. You ensure the continuous follow-up of various HR processes in compliance with the institution's HR policy and rules. You have a strong team spirit, enjoy networking, and collaborating with different HR staff services (recruitment management, mobility) in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in managing cross-functional HR processes. You demonstrate rigor and attention to detail in your management under the supervision of your manager, and alongside a team composed of two deputy HR managers, three assistants, and one [position], you initiate innovative and adapted HR approaches focused on the development of human capital in your department. You advise employees and the target public assigned to you throughout their professional journey as well as the hierarchy regarding the evolution of skills needs. You intervene at the various stages of the employee lifecycle (recruitment, mobility, departure). You represent your HR manager in permanent committees, working groups, and cross-functional project teams and ensure their replacement in their absence. You provide support to your manager in developing a harmonious and respectful work environment. Customer-oriented and embodying the values of the HUG in your role, you will meet with teams across the different sites; travel within the canton is required. You have completed a university course accompanied by training in human resources management (e.g., Certificate, CAS, DAS, MAS) or hold a master’s degree and have 3 to 5 years minimum experience in a similar HR function in which you have been able to work significantly, or project management experience will facilitate your onboarding. Knowledge of the hospital and/or public sector is also a valuable asset. You possess a very good command of standard tools and an excellent ease of expression both orally and in writing. Being organized and rigorous, you are capable of working autonomously, demonstrating versatility and adaptability. You know how to manage priorities and make decisions. With strong analytical and synthetic skills, you have an ability to propose solutions that meet needs while respecting the current framework and confidentiality inherent to the HR function. Flexible and possessing good interpersonal skills, you know how to develop harmonious relationships with your interlocutors.
