The Role
We're seeking a
Senior Digital IC Design Engineer
to strengthen our clients design team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in embedded MCU/DSP systems to design, implement, and benchmark solutions for various processor cores. You'll also collaborate with product integration teams to ensure seamless integration into semiconductor products.
Key Responsibilities
 * Design, implement, simulate, and benchmark MCU/DSP systems and hardware accelerators.
 * Provide consultation to product integration teams on system integration and usage.
 * Contribute to system verification and FPGA prototyping.
 * Collaborate with software teams on SDK development.
 * Lead project activities and mentor team members.
 * Drive improvements in design methodology and workflows.
Required Skills
 * BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
 * Minimum of 10 years in semiconductor product development, including leadership roles.
 * Proficiency in embedded CPUs (e.g., ARM Cortex, DSP) and AMBA bus protocols (AHB/APB).
 * Expertise in RTL design of digital IP blocks and systems using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
 * Strong technical documentation skills.
 * Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
 * Work Eligibility
 : Authorized to work in Switzerland.
Preferred Skills
 * Project/task leadership.
 * Designing signal processing components.
 * Handling design intent (timing constraints/SDC, power intent/UPF).
 * Advanced digital verification methodologies (e.g., UVM).
 * Programming (Python, Tcl, embedded software).
 * RTL-to-GDS flow, including logic synthesis, place-and-route, and STA.
