They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, the solution principles guiding the organisation, the software design and the implementation. The scope of the Solution Architect's role is defined by the business issue at hand. To fulfil the role, a Solution Architect utilises business and technology expertise and experience.

Solution/Delivery Architect - Responsible for the application or domain architecture of a solution, including its assembly and integration into the existing landscape. In alignment with the principles, define the structure of the system, its interfaces, and the implementation. Responsible for the management and mitigation of technical risks, ensuring that the solution services can be delivered by the chosen technology components. Certification: preferably Capgemini Architects certification level 1 or 2, relevant security certifications, IAF and/or industry certifications such as TOGAF 9 or equivalent.
