Ph3Cluster Sales Manager (m/w) /h3 pbApplication Deadline: /b 30 June 2026 /p pbDepartment: /b Sales Marketing /p pbEmployment Type: /b Permanent - Full Time /p pbLocation: /b Switzerland - Engelberg /p pbReporting To: /b Director of Sales Marketing /p h3Description /h3 pResponsible for achieving hotel targets by optimizing revenues through an assigned account base, as well as prospecting new clients in assigned markets. Assigned markets may change according to hotel needs. The key measurement of performance will be performance versus the Revenue goals. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liAttend internal Meetings and Conference Calls, and Client Appointments and Client Events in the absence primarily of the Cluster Director of Sales Marketing. /li liResponsible for key account management on an assigned account (base or geographic area), ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing fair market share versus competitor set. /li liResponsible for prospecting new accounts. /li liResponsible for all segments of assigned geographical markets, which may include, but not be exclusively limited to European markets. /li liConduct site inspections. /li liAdhere to the Corporate SOP’s. /li liFollow-up of tentative bookings in the assigned markets. Detailed knowledge of competitor set. /li liDetailed knowledge of all services provided by the Hotel and all relevant facts and figures of the hotel. /li liResponsible for timely contracting from the client base responsible for. /li liSMART contracting to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiations. /li liAttend trade shows, sales blitz, workshops, etc. in the assigned markets. /li liAssist the Director of Sales Marketing in defining an annual sales action plan and execute set actions accordingly. /li liAssist the Director of Sales Marketing with the preparation of the annual budget by providing statistics and forecasts of account productions. /li liExecute sales actions within set cost budget structure. /li liCross Sell other Kempinski Hotels. /li liAim to achieve the Company Sales Vision. /li liDocument all sales actions in SFA (SC). /li liUpdate OPERA contact database always. /li liUnderstand, and follow the Company Sales Vision. /li liUnderstand and strictly adhere to the Rules Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health Safety. /li liEnsure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately. /li liAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel. /li /ul h3Skills, Knowledge and Expertise /h3 pbExperience: /b Two (2) years experience in a Sales position, preferably in a 4/5 star hotel. /p pbLanguage: /b Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment: /p ul liLocal language – excellent oral and written skills (as applicable) /li liEnglish – excellent oral and written skills /li liAdditional language – beneficial /li /ul pbCompetencies: /b To fill this position the candidate must have: /p ul liPlanning/organization /li liAdaptability /li liFlexibility /li liInitiative /li liNegotiation skills /li liSelling skills /li liInnovative ideas /li /ul pbTechnical Competencies: /b Computer literacy adapted to the field of Sales: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, (Excel/PowerPoint/Word). /p pMicros Fidelio Opera and Sales Catering. /p pbIndividual Characteristics: /b To fill this position the candidate must identify with the Kempinski core values, in addition they should be especially: /p ul liPeople Oriented /li liPassionate for European luxury /li liEntrepreneurial /li liStraightforward /li liInterest to develop in the Sales department, communication, attention to details /li liOrganizational skills /li liProblem solving decision making /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liLiving and working in the heart of alpine Central Switzerland /li liDiverse creative opportunities /li liPleasant working atmosphere in a young and dynamic team /li liInternational career prospects and development opportunities /li liOutstanding employee benefits in all Kempinski Hotels, among others /li liExtensive range of meals in our staff restaurant /li liFree WLAN and parking spaces /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
